Fireco Portable Scene Lighting
Fireco offer a wide variety of scene lighting options; two such systems are the Servolux and Canguro lighting systems.
- The Servolux range uses efficient batteries to power two different light options
- The Canguro range utilises a soundproofed generator to power no fewer than 20 lighting options.
Servolux SX Range: With three different models, the Servolux range is sure to meet the needs of police, fire and emergency other users requiring bright, portable scene lighting. All Servolux kits are available with either metal halide (MH) or High Pressure Sodium (HPS) 70W gas discharge bulbs. Metal halide bulbs give a bright white light whilst Sodium gives a more yellow glow. Mast construction, like the rest of the Fireco range is in anodized aluminium. Three sections, the largest of which is 52mm in diameter can be locked in position at any height. At any stage the light can be rotated through 360°.
Canguro Emergency Lighting Masts: This patented range of emergency lighting units features a wheeled trailer with a frame to carry a lightweight portable generator set. The lighting unit comes complete with sturdy wheels, adjustable feet and mounting base for the generator.
Three mast types make up the Canguro series. Star masts utilise external cable connectors for lights whereas the Entry and Super Entry lights feature internal cabling. Internal cabling prevents damage during transit. The Entry and super entry lights also feature connectors at the top and bottom of the masts for quick generator and light connection. All Canguro models have a 4 metre maximum height giving wide-angle scene lighting, the units are extended using a hand pump (supplied). The Fireco ‘quick-lock’ system ensures that masts do not rotate or turn in operation.
Fireco Lumicone Lighting Balloon
The Fireco Lumicone, is a unique, patented product designed to be mounted onto Fireco Masts.
No mounting or dismantling required when fixed to a vehicle mast!
The Lumicone is designed to be mounted to a vehicle mast to give totally safe and easy extension/retraction without the need for user interference. The Lumicone operation is all controlled from a simple remote control handset.
The Lumicone can be protected from damage by being flushed into a GRP enclosure with metal cover plate. The non flammable and reflective fabric, means that the product is both safe and effective.
Applications include fire-fighting vehicles, motorway vehicles, recovery trucks, working areas and airports.
Searchlights, strobes and beacons can all be incorporated into the Lumicone package, with a variety of lighting including:
- Halogen bulbs 12V / 24V / 230V
- H.P. Sodium bulbs 12V / 24V / 230V
- Metal halide bulbs 12V / 24V / 230V

Fireco Tripod-Mounted Portable Lighting
Fireco's patented tripod provides a highly versatile base from which to construct your purpose-built portable lighting system. If required, lights can be supported up to 14m above the ground. Masts are raised either by hand pump or by external pneumatics. Each section is lockable to avoid unintentional rotation and to ensure solidity over a long period of time. Such is the build quality of Fireco masts; we guarantee their use in winds up to 130km/h (dependent on height).
Fireco tripods are supplied with three adjustable feet, which if to be erected on uneven ground can be used to correct differences in height on slopes up to 15°. Constructed from lightweight aluminium alloy, the tripod itself weighs only 9kg and is totally corrosion resistant. Compact when stowed, it can be supplied in a carry bag if required and be easily stowed onboard vehicles. They can easily be integrated into full lighting trailers.
